BRAVA Hospice Compliance Academy provides specialized education and training designed to help hospice organizations navigate complex regulatory requirements, reduce compliance risk, and deliver exceptional patient care. Our programs focus on CMS Conditions of Participation, Medicare regulations, documentation excellence, fraud, waste and abuse prevention, accreditation standards, quality improvement, leadership accountability, and ethical hospice operations.

The BRAVA Training Academy Hospice Volunteer Orientation Program provides comprehensive training that prepares volunteers to confidently support hospice patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams. Through 16 modules of engaging instruction, participants gain an understanding of hospice philosophy, end-of-life care, communication skills, grief and bereavement, patient rights, cultural sensitivity, confidentiality, boundaries, safety, and the essential role of the hospice volunteer.
Upon completion, volunteers are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and compassion needed to provide meaningful support while meeting federal hospice volunteer training requirements.

The BRAVA Training Academy 8-Hour Hospice Dementia Training Program provides healthcare professionals, caregivers, and hospice staff with the knowledge and practical skills needed to deliver compassionate, person-centered care to individuals living with dementia. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of dementia disease processes, communication techniques, behavioral symptoms, safety considerations, family support strategies, and end-of-life care best practices.
This comprehensive training helps caregivers build confidence, improve patient interactions, reduce distress, and enhance quality of life for patients and families navigating the challenges of dementia.
